About Us

Kuemuri Sangram Sangha is a non-profit, non-government development organization ( NGO ) committed to improving the lives of needy- helpless- poor people and also indigenous people in West Bengal, India, through participation and empowerment. We, Kuemuri Sangram Sangha want to develop the intrinsic power of the mankind through improving healthy- normal- cultural & moral conditions of the people. We want earnestly that our society will become more clean & ideal for living of the mankind. We also want to build creativity manners of the society. This organization is not influenced by any particular religion or cast or any other unnecessary discriminations. Kuemuri Sangram Sangha works for the establishment of a society that is based on truth, co-operation, justice, equality, love and brotherhood. While dedicating itself to the service of the humanity, Kuemuri Sangram Sangha offer its services to the poor people regardless of their caste, ethnicity, creed, religion and social positions.

 Kuemuri Sangram Sangha traces its roots to a social organization initiated in 2012 in the village of Kuemuri in the South 24 Parganas district of West Bengal. It soon became involved in local efforts to enhance wellbeing of the communities in the Sundarban delta.

The Organization is registered under West Bengal Society Registration Act 1961 in 2013. Registration number of the organization is S/2L/2983. The organization is also registered Section 12AA & 80G Income Tax Act 1961.  Kuemuri Sangram Sangha implements programs  in various sectors, catering to the needs of vulnerable communities. We, Kuemuri Snagram Sangha think that there is no simple solution to alleviate poverty but only hard work can alleviate poverty. As such, in order to overcome poverty, it is necessary to address the range of issues that poor people face on a daily basis. Tackling issues in an integrated, sustainable manner, Kuemuri Sangram Sangha aimed at improving quality of life of most vulnerable people of the communities.

Now Kuemuri Sangram Sangha is functional in Patharpratima development Block of South 24 Parganas district. We expect that in the future we will stay beside the people of other places in  collaboration with all of you.
